Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Lumeo, a mobile application published by Piotr Prus Prosurp IT & Photo, trading as Broda Labs. By installing or using Lumeo you agree to them.
1. Who provides Lumeo
Lumeo is provided by Piotr Prus Prosurp IT & Photo, trading as Broda Labs, at Bernadowska 4/14, 81-553 Gdynia, Poland, NIP 8762427020 ("we", "us"). Contact: broda.labs@gmail.com.
2. Your account
Lumeo requires you to sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Lumeo. One person, one account.
3. Your content stays yours
Everything you capture in Lumeo (recordings, transcripts, notes, ideas) belongs to you. We claim no ownership of it and no right to use it for anything except operating the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train models and we do not sell it.
You grant us only the narrow permission needed to run the app: to transmit, process and store your content for the purpose of providing Lumeo's features to you.
4. What Lumeo produces, and its limits
Lumeo uses AI models to transcribe, summarise, connect and answer. These models make mistakes. Transcription can mishear you, summaries can lose nuance, connections can be wrong, and answers can be incomplete even when Lumeo is drawing only on your own notes.
Lumeo is a thinking aid, not a system of record and not professional advice. Do not rely on it alone for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Lumeo for anything unlawful, or to store material you have no right to hold;
- record other people where doing so would be illegal where you are;
- attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent the service or its limits;
- resell or redistribute access to Lumeo.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Lumeo offers a free tier and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms, and we never handle your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you cancel through the store you bought from, not through us.
Refunds are handled by the store according to its policy. Where Polish and EU consumer law gives you a statutory right of withdrawal, that right applies and nothing here limits it.
Usage of AI features may be subject to fair-use limits, which we will describe in the app before they apply to you.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Lumeo running but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
8. Ending it
You may stop using Lumeo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the law, ordinarily with notice and an opportunity to fix the problem where that is reasonable.
9. Liability
Lumeo is provided as-is, to the extent permitted by law. We are liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for anything that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including consumer protection law and liability for death or personal injury. Otherwise our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Polish or EU law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Lumeo after that means you accept the new terms.
