Delete your Lumeo account
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Lumeo is published by Piotr Prus Prosurp IT & Photo, trading as Broda Labs. You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app or by writing to us. Both routes delete the same things.
In the app
- Open Lumeo and go to Profile.
- Scroll to Lumeo Cloud.
- Tap Delete account, underneath Sign out.
- Confirm with Delete everything.
Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out and the app returns to its first-run state.
By email
If you have lost access to the app or to the device, write to broda.labs@gmail.com from the email address you signed in with, and ask for your account to be deleted. We use that address to confirm the account is yours, and we complete the request within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account record: the sign-in provider, the identifier it gave us, and your email address.
- Every sign-in session, on every device.
- Every note fingerprint (embedding) we hold. These are what make connections and Ask work.
- Your subscription state and your usage counters.
We do not hold the text of your notes, so there is nothing of that kind for us to delete. Your notes are stored on your phone: deleting your account from inside the app erases them from the device at the same time, and uninstalling Lumeo removes them too.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records. If you ever subscribed, the purchase itself belongs to Google Play or the App Store, not to us, and is governed by their terms. Any accounting records we are required to keep under Polish tax law are retained for as long as that law requires, and are not used for anything else.
- Operational logs. Short-lived server logs may contain request metadata such as timings, error codes and account identifiers. They contain no note content and are discarded on their normal retention schedule.
Deletion cannot be undone. Signing in again afterwards creates a new, empty account.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
Deleting a note inside Lumeo also deletes the fingerprint we hold for it. You do not need to close your account to remove individual thoughts.
